Our Process

 

At Whale Hello! we factor in numerous conditions in our planning process for your event. We first discuss the logistics of your event, including, the date, time, event schedule, and the number and ages of children. Next, we go over the nature of the event, and whether the children will be incorporated into the event or be provided with a seperate on-site children’s location. If you wish to include the children in your event, we can discuss additional activities such as a kids table, or kids area in the setting of the event. We recognize that not all events are ideal settings for children. This is where a child-friendly location (on-site) such as a conference room, hall, or an adequately sized hotel room would be a great option for Whale Hello! to supervise and provide entertainment for the children. To ensure safety and a fun experience for the children, we request pictures of the designated space that our team will be provided with prior to the event.


What We Provide

We pride ourselves on being a completely mobile service providing all necessary equipment and entertainment for the children during your event! Our team sets up age appropriate, and station oriented activities such as a reading nook, art zone, dress up station, snack area, gated infant play area, and a movie station. We consider the ages of children in our care and are able to provide activities such as toys, games, craft supplies, costumes, puppets, and puzzles. Additionally, we offer infant high chairs, cribs and cots for toddlers who nap. And upon request we can cater your event with a professional magic show, face painter, or a children's musician to add to the experience.

For outdoor events we set up a large tented area in a designated spot for the children and our team.

We also offer the option of providing all organic snacks and refreshments for the children depending on the duration of the event.


Safety and Protocol

Safety is our top priority at Whale Hello! Our Team consists of highly trained, experienced, and qualified individuals who are fingerprinted, background screened, infant and child CPR and First Aid Certified. The environment will always be on site and secure from outside visitors. The space will be thoroughly planned out and secured for safety of the children. All parents are welcome to drop in and visit their child at any time!

Our procedure includes a sign in/sign out sheet for all of the children in our care. Upon child pickup, parents will receive reports for each child’s daily activities including any naps, meals, and playtime they had throughout their time with us.

For on site events it is the event coordinators responsibility to provide a childcare area for Whale Hello!. A conference room or small meeting room is ideal to meet all of our safety specifications. If required, a hotel suite will suffice on a case by case basis. If the event is outdoors then a designated area should also be provided. All other activities and equipment are provided by our team at Whale Hello!
